EERI Student Leadership Council
Our Mission
Help students to develop leadership and interpersonal skills, while gaining practical experience within the earthquake engineering fields.
Serve as an active student earthquake engineering community for sharing knowledge, exchanging experiences, and promoting education.
Represent home EERI student chapters and have the opportunity to positively impact other EERI student chapters.
Activities
- Participate in SLC retreat hosted by CSI in San Francisco
- Organized and host Undergraduate Seismic Design Competition at EERI Annual Meeting
- Network with EERI staff, professionals, and graduate students from institutions across the world
- Organize and host Young Researcher Symposium at EERI Annual Meeting
- Host Post-Earthquake Reconnaissance Workshop, and assist student chapters in conducting their own workshops
- EERI Goes to High School outreach program
