Team captions who have filled out the interest survey prior to this announcement should have received an E-mail notifying them the rules are now available. This e-mail serves as a confirmation that you have successfully filled out the interest survey. If you did not receive an e-mail, your e-mail address may have been incorrectly submitted, or you did not successfully fill out the form. In either case, please try re-submitting the form below.
Interest form for 2018 SDC is now open! All teams that plan to compete should fill out the form so the SDC chairs have contact information to notify your team of important dates and deadlines. The rules and proposal guidelines are being finalized and will be made available within a few of weeks. The competition will be held in Los Angeles, California. Similar to the 2017 competition, the 2018 SDC may limit the number of teams that compete. Invitations to the competition will be based on the design proposal submitted by each team. Proposals will be judged according to the rubric that will be provided with the rules.
